Join Cardiff & District Law Society for the launch of our LGBTQ+ Subcommittee – a chance for members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies in the legal sector in Wales to come together in an informal networking setting, and to hear our mission and plans for our new subcommittee.
Marc Jones, Chair of the CDLS LGBTQ+ Subcommittee welcomes members and non-members of our Society to attend this free event, with drinks and nibbles, kindly hosted at Eversheds Sutherland in Cardiff.

Hear what CDLS has in store for the work of this subcommittee, dedicated to supporting the diverse needs of and enabling positive commitments by our individual and corporate members – and let us know what would help you!
We are also looking to invite practitioners onto our Subcommittee and will explain how you can add value to our work within the legal profession in Cardiff.
Speaker
Hussein Said, Legal Advisor, LGBTQ+ Law Clinic, will join us to introduce The LGBTQ+ Law Clinic, the UK’s only advice clinic specifically targeted to help the LGBTQ+ community on any legal issue they face, free of charge. He will also outline how we have been able to grow and its plans for the future, and what the Clinic hopes to can achieve with the help of the legal community.
Who should attend?
The event is open to anyone working in the legal sector who identifies as LGBTQ+ or is an LGBTQ+ ally and wants to learn more about the work of and being involved with our new subcommittee.
